Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for the partnership and for celebrating the opening of the Bulldog Corner. While it's a place to find DeSoto Bulldog gear, it's also a symbol of something much bigger: community pride and belief in our schools.
As a district, we know we can't do this work alone. Our students and staff are strongest when they have a community that believes in them, supports them, and proudly stands behind them.
We're grateful for partners like Habitat for Humanity and for everyone who continues to champion our students.

🕊️ In Loving Memory 🕊️
It is with deep sadness that the School District of DeSoto County shares the passing of Kaycee Mays.
For nearly 27 years, Kaycee dedicated her life to serving the students and families of DeSoto County with unwavering compassion, kindness, and excellence. She was an exceptional professional, educator, co-worker, and friend whose impact reached far beyond the classroom.
Kaycee was a fierce champion for her students and our community, pouring her heart into everything she did. Her dedication, genuine care, and commitment to helping others inspired countless lives and strengthened the Bulldog family she loved so dearly.
Above all, Kaycee was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and loyal friend who took immense pride in her family and the relationships she built throughout her life. Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with her husband, four sons, family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives were touched by her remarkable spirit. Her legacy of service, love, and unwavering belief in children will continue to live on in our schools and throughout our community.
Forever a part of the Bulldog family. Forever remembered. 💙
