Last night, Superintendent Dr. Bennett proudly presented our School Board members with plaques from 2026 Florida TaxWatch, recognizing their leadership and innovation in championing one of the most efficient projects for our community while being responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.

This honor reflects the Board’s commitment to making thoughtful decisions that maximize resources, support student success, and strengthen the future of DeSoto County. We are grateful for their vision and dedication to serving our students, staff, families, and community.

Congratulations to our School Board on this well-deserved recognition! 💙🐾
